The Kitchen Table

The brief of this project was to transform a tired village café into an intimate, 20-cover Michelin star dining destination centered around storytelling, craft, and connection. The restaurant will embody a relaxed yet refined environment where guests feel as though they have been invited into the chefs home.

The design should support a highly immersive dining experience built around openness, warmth, and culinary theatre. A central counter-top chef’s table will act as the heart of the restaurant, allowing guests to observe and interact with the kitchen guided through a tasting journey.

The concept blends innovation and precision with the comfort and hospitality of a humble home.

This is an intimate, calm, and welcoming space. The design language balances Michelin-level refinement with the warmth of a personal dining room. Guests should feel relaxed and curious, encouraged to engage with the food, the chef, and the story behind each course.
